A demonstrated executive with more than 35 years of construction industry experience, Larry Knox is an Executive Vice President with Bob Moore Construction.

Mr. Knox promoted to his current position in 2013. Previously he served as a Senior Vice President, managing all pre-construction operations for Bob Moore Construction, since 2002. Under his leadership the company witnessed annual sales growth from $45M to $125M and earned the prestigious AGC General Contractor of the Year Award. A major part of Mr. Knox's responsibilities is the negotiation of new project contracts; among the projects secured by Mr. Knox over this period were major contracts in Shreveport, Louisiana and DFW International Airport, Texas, with values of $23M and $19M respectively.

Prior to this position, Mr. Knox served as a senior project manager with Bob Moore Construction where he led more than 40 successful commercial construction projects, accounting for more than 8.2M square feet of warehouse, industrial, office and retail space around Texas. These projects included various high-profile projects including the $17M ROOMS TO GO regional distribution facility in Grand Prairie, Texas and the $12M FT Mortgage Call Center in Irving, Texas. As a senior project manager, Mr. Knox was entrusted with leadership responsibilities for no less than 20 projects for one of the company's most prolific clients; his superior performance in delivering these projects solidified and sustained a key strategic business relationship that has provided more than $120M of business to the company and continues to thrive today.

As part of his role as Executive Vice President, Mr. Knox serves as Bob Moore Construction's compliance officer for EPA / TCEQ storm water management, coordinating and completing all state / federal documentation requirements for storm water management at the company's jobsites.

Before joining Bob Moore Construction, Mr. Knox developed his knowledge and experience in all facets of the construction process with more than 20 years of various senior project manager, project manager, estimator and superintendent positions for companies in Houston, Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas and in Oklahoma and Kansas. His projects over this period included a diverse selection of commercial buildings in the private sector as well as schools, garages and heavy civil projects.

Widely recognized in the north Texas business community for his industry expertise, Mr. Knox was elected to QUOIN / AGC's Board of Directors in 2007. He has been a member of AGC for 25 years.

An active member of his community, Mr. Knox received mayoral and city council endorsements for and was voted onto the City of Colleyville Planning and Zoning Commission in 2007, based on his longstanding expertise in commercial real estate and construction. Mr. Knox is a 25-year member of the American Legion Post 379 in Bedford, Texas.

Mr. Knox earned his M.B.A. in Industrial Management from the University of Dallas in Dallas Texas; his B.B.A. Degree in Business Management from the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas; and his A.A.S. Degree in Civil and Construction Engineering Technology from Kansas State University in Salina, Kansas. He has earned a variety of professional accreditations including the Green Advantage Commercial Environmental Certification. He is a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators, Dallas / Fort Worth Chapter, and an Associate Member of the Dallas / Fort Worth chapter of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
