Trammell Crow Company retained Bob Moore Construction as the general contractor for a two building commercial construction project in Dallas, Texas. The two distribution centers, overlooking Interstate Highway 30 in west Dallas, combine to provide 724,400 SF of new warehouse floorspace, with easy and immediate access to the primary east/west freeway between the Dallas and Fort Worth city centers.
Each building is 362,200 SF, with separate entries to support up to four different tenants, 60 dock doors and a 32-foot clear height. The entries on the north side of each building feature extensive stone finishings. The site also includes a water retention pond.
The jobsite started with more than a quarter-mile of distance to the nearest road. We extended the city's road 700 feet and built a private road to connect the site to exisitng streets and added extensive utilities. We also had to remove a massive amount of materials to prepare the site for construction.
