Bob Moore Construction Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Ed McGuire
Vice President of Construction Delivers Two Decades of Leadership

22, 2004 - ARLINGTON, TEXAS - Bob Moore Construction, Inc., a leading
general contractor in North Texas, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of
Ed McGuire, Vice President of Construction.
Ed joined Bob Moore Construction after graduating from Iowa State University. "I had been working on a co-op program for Butler Manufacturing while in college," Ed remembered. "At the time, Bob Moore Construction was the largest distributor of Butler steel buildings in the state of Texas. The Butler representative I worked with forwarded my résumé on to Bob Moore Construction."
Ed started his career with Bob Moore Construction as an estimator in 1984, and moved into project management a year later. Over the years he worked his way up to Senior Project Manager. He was named Vice President of Construction in 1996, and became a full partner of Bob Moore Construction in 2004.
"For the past two decades, Ed has instituted and maintained the standards of customer service and construction quality that goes into all of our projects," said Mike Moore, Chief Executive Officer of Bob Moore Construction, Inc. "There is no doubt in my mind that without Ed, it would have been difficult to achieve our success as a leading commercial contractor in north Texas. We have built some of the most recognizable projects in this market and each one has been completed successfully under his leadership."
Phillip Bell, President of Bob Moore Construction, was equally enthusiastic about Ed's role in the company. "It has been a real pleasure working with Ed over the past 20 years," he said. "He has grown into a position of tremendous respect amongst his peers in our industry."
"I'm so appreciative of my time with Bob Moore Construction," Ed said. "Bob Moore took me under his wing from the moment I started here. He taught me a lot about the business, certainly, but he taught me the importance of integrity in your dealings, how to treat clients and how to take care of subcontractors. He showed me how to do the job the right way."
Ed believes the company will rely heavily on that philosophy
in the coming years. "We will remain on the leading edge of technology
and always grow our sophistication in that direction," He stated. "Even
more important though, we will always provide a quality product. We will work
to make the end product better. Taking care of the client has been our key to
success from day one. That focus on customer service and satisfaction will remain
our top priority."
