Bob Moore Construction was the design / build contractor for the 139,000 SF Pizza Inn corporate headquarters and distribution center, located in The Colony, a growing community north of Dallas in North Texas.
The client required a facility that could accommodate the corporate staff and the actual perishable items needed to make pizzas and other menu items. By housing the food items, the headquarters also functions as a distribution center to keep all support services in one location.
The campus includes 49,000 square feet of luxurious office and training facility space, and a 100,000 square foot distribution center and warehouse. The warehouse includes a 39,000 SF zero-degree freezer, cold storage warehouse and refrigerated dock area, and a test kitchen where products are developed.
The project was nominated for the Dallas Business Journal’s “Best Headquarters Move” Award in 2002.
The facility allows its staff to efficiently serve more than franchisees located throughout the United States and 12 countries across the globe. This facility serves as the corporate headquarters for; Pizza Inn, Pie Five Pizza, YUMI World Class DSD, and acpi.
