From its humble beginnings in 1946, Bob Moore Construction has now blossomed into becoming a well-respected builder in Texas. CEO Phillip Bell’s history in construction dates back to 1964, when he worked for an Atlanta-based firm. In 1979, he joined Bob Moore Construction as a project manager. His work experience and leadership helped him assume progressively bigger roles in the company until he was promoted to President in 1997.
The firm has worked with some of the industry’s biggest names, including American Airlines, Harley-Davidson, Best Buy, and UPS. Apart from its stunning works, it is also an award-winning firm. It was the recipient of awards such as the 2019 Distinguished Building Award from the AGC & ABC joint association (TEXO), the 2018 AGC-Texas’ Outstanding Construction Award, and the 2017 Alphonse J. Engelman Zero Lost Time Safety Award.
Tandy Leather is a 23,000-square-foot retail store in Fort Worth that was designed and built by Bob Moore Construction. The firm collaborated with Alliance Architects in this project. The whole store was designed to achieve an upscale look. It features a 100% glass front wall, while the interior boasts of a white large canvas that provides a modern appeal. This project was awarded the 2014 TEXO (DFW Chapter of – AGC & ABC) Distinguished Building Award, Retail Category.
