Sherwin-Williams (1990)

Sherwin-Williams

Location: Waco, Texas

Bob Moore Construction built this Sherwin-Williams Distribution Center, with more than 10 acres under roof, in only 166 days. In addition to the warehouse area, the facility contains a 60,000 SF liquid cutoff room for storage of environmentally sensitive liquids. This room is capable of containing large, industrial spills. Also, a 20,000 SF separate building was built for highly flammable storage. The environmental and fire protection controls of this facility include a full foam sprinkler system and a 1.5 million gallon liquid spill containment. The Sherwin-Williams Distribution Center is an excellent example of the safety and security that can be built into a tilt-up building.

Sherwin-Williams has been manufacturing and selling coatings and related products for 125 years with subsidiary companies stretching from Brazil to the West Indies. This facility serves Sherwin-Williams retail stores throughout 11 south central states.

After a quarter century of use of this facility, Sherwin-Williams selected Bob Moore Construction for a new distribution center in Waco, Texas
